Then you need to kill your hero. Or their sidekick, lover, friend, whatever. Failing that, the hero needs to undergo a radical physical or emotional change or suffer in some capacity. The villain's last laugh, as it were; a trade-off. It seems too easy because your finale isn't balanced with your hero having "earned" their victory.

What seems to be the problem?
The final triumph over the villain seems too "easy". I need to find some way to add an unexpected twist with a satisfying solution....
